The research paper revolves around the renewable energy industry in the United States of America (USA). We first wrote a high-level overview of the industry, and its importance in society today. We then took a deep dive into the different types of renewable energy, and the scene in the USA. The uptake of renewable energy in the USA is one of the highest and most advanced in the world due to the amount of money and space required for certain types of renewable energy. We then did a case study on the well-known tech company - Google and ran through the initiatives that they have taken up thus far.
Various impact measurement metrics learnt from the masterclasses were incorporated into the research paper to show how the renewable energy scene in the USA and in Google has had an environmental and social impact. The relevant United Nations Sustainable Development Goals were also outlined in the paper.
